Find out what’s behind the facade of this iconic building, one of the most recognisable in Wellington’s landscape, and hear about its history.

Mount Victoria Historical Society is running tours in conjunction with St Gerard’s Trust to give neighbours and visitors a chance to see the iconic monastery and now-deconsecrated church before seismic and renovation work commences. You will be guided through different areas of the monastery and the church, and learn about its history.

Saturday 18 October 1-2pm and 3-4pm, and Sunday 19 October 1-2pm
