The Mt Victoria Historical Society and the Mt Victoria Residents Association are holding a meeting on Thursday 3 September from 6.30pm to discuss the draft Spatial Plan for Wellington.

This represents a significant change from the current policy and District Plan. We want residents to learn about the changes, and to have an opportunity to discuss the different approaches to managing land and development to achieve the type of Wellington we want.

Speakers from the Wellington City Council, along with councillors, will present the proposed changes and answer questions, with local residents able to discuss and debate.

The meeting will be held at the Tararua Tramping Club hall on Moncrieff St, Mt Victoria, and will also be streamed live.
